Nobody’s Coming to Audit the Sleep | November 2–8

[00:00:00] I'm Dahlia Kent, and this is your celestial forecast for the week of Monday, November 2nd. Y'all, the clocks went back Sunday, and that's about to do two things. Wednesday around 5:15, you're gonna look out a window, see it's already full dark, and decide you wasted the day. Half this country's gonna feel that exact same way within 10 minutes of each other, so don't worry about it.

[00:00:26] Meanwhile, you've been going to bed at midnight since May like a woman living in Spain, and now you're shocked that the day feels short. Summer's over, y'all. Take your bedtime back. Wednesday, the sun also catches Mercury in Scorpio, which is the middle of this retrograde, and something you've been chewing on since Halloween is gonna quit moving around on you.

[00:00:47] One rule for every sign. It got dark, but we can deal with it. Let's get into it. Aries, there's something that's been riding around in your car for three weeks now. [00:01:00] A return, a bag for a donation place, something you borrowed and you swore you'd get back to somebody. And every time you get in your car, you see it, and every time you decide, "Well, that's a Saturday problem."

[00:01:12] Well, Saturday is where little jobs go to disappear. So do it on Tuesday on the way to something you are already doing. At this point, that thing has its own seat. Taurus, somebody's gonna be careless with something of yours this week. Your car, a dish, a tool you actually maintain. And the apology's gonna be about how bad they feel instead of what they did.

[00:01:36] You'll let it go, and you'll be strange with them for nine days. Skip the nine days. Tell them what it costs to replace in dollars or whatever currency you use, and let them go get it. You take care of your things, and they borrowed it because yours still works. Gemini, four thirty is the dangerous hour for you this week.

[00:01:57] Four thirty is when errands start lying about how [00:02:00] close together they are. You're already out, you're already dressed, and three completely unrelated errands are gonna turn into one mission. By five ten, you're in a parking lot behind somebody returning a lamp with no receipt. Do the one thing that needs doing now, and move the rest to Thursday.

[00:02:18] Cancer, somebody you actually wanna see is gonna ask you to do something one night this week, and you're gonna say it's too late. It's gonna be six fifteen. It's gonna feel late. Just go. Stay two hours. Be home with your shoes off by nine. You're gonna be glad you went. By the way, everything good happens within the first two hours.

[00:02:38] After that, it's just people deciding whether to order another round. Leo, somebody in your life is gonna get through this entire week acting completely normal, showing up, answering texts, doing everything right, and you're gonna be the one who notices they stopped making jokes. Don't ask if they're okay.

[00:02:57] Everybody asks that, and everybody replies yes, even if [00:03:00] they're lying. Say, "You've been off since last week. What happened?" Just check in with them. You're really good at that, and that's why everybody loves you. Virgo, around six thirty this week, you're gonna run the day back, and everything that looked perfectly fine at four is gonna look like you dropped the ball by six.

[00:03:17] Same day, same list, different light. Do not take the version of that day to bed with you. Just go ahead and lay your head down, and in the morning, most of what felt urgent is gonna look smaller. And about two-thirds of what you are blaming yourself for will not survive breakfast. Libra, somebody's gonna ask you what you want this year, and you're gonna say you don't need anything, and you'll mean it Tuesday and be a little sad about it in December.

[00:03:44] Venus is still backing up through your sign, so naturally, everything you normally like suddenly feels wrong. Then somebody buys you a candle, and everybody's disappointed. Somebody wants to get this right, and you keep handing them a blank page. [00:04:00] Name one thing anyway. The actual size, color, where you saw it.

[00:04:04] Nobody's ever accused you of asking for too much. That's not the compliment you think it is. Scorpio, everybody keeps telling you that retrogrades bring someone from your past back into your life, an old text, an old friend, some unfinished business. Well, maybe, but that's not the interesting part this week.

[00:04:23] Mercury's been backing through your sign, and Wednesday, the Sun meets it right there. That's when something gets clear. You spend enough time figuring out everybody else. Take Wednesday night and ask yourself the question without putting another person in it. What do you want? You probably know already.

[00:04:43] You've just been too busy reading the room. Sagittarius, something's been giving you the same little warning since August, and you've developed an entire position about why it doesn't count. Maybe it's the car. Maybe it's something else you keep calling fine because nothing bad has [00:05:00] happened yet.

[00:05:01] Sweetheart, this week, deal with it. You have confused a perfect record with a warranty. Capricorn, your body's about to take that earlier dark and run with it. You're gonna sleep better this week than you have since August, and by Wednesday, you'll be feeling strange about it, like you got away with something.

[00:05:20] Nobody's coming to audit the sleep. It's Tuesday, and you went to bed. Go back to bed tomorrow night too. Nothing fell apart while you were asleep, which is gonna annoy you more than it should Aquarius, every errand you run this week is gonna be an excuse. Something to drop off, something to pick up, a question to ask a person that you coulda probably just sent a text to.

[00:05:45] What you actually are looking for is to be around people in a room for at least an hour. So go without the errand. Aquarius, you've never needed a work order to sit in somebody's kitchen, and nobody has ever once asked you why you came. So just [00:06:00] go. Pisces, there's a form or a claim or a phone call with a hold time that has been sitting there since September, and this week you're gonna get it done in one sitting.

[00:06:10] Six weeks of dread, 11 minutes and it's over. Nobody's gonna say a word about it, so tell one person anyway. It's worth celebrating. Say, "Hey, I finally dealt with that thing." And next time, do not give it six weeks. And well, loves, that's your week. Somebody's sitting in the kitchen she has no official business being in, somebody's asleep at 10:30 on a Tuesday night for the first time since August, and somebody just found out the thing she dreaded for six weeks took only 11 minutes.

[00:06:43] It got dark, but we can deal with it. I'm Dahlia Kent. Follow the show wherever you listen. You can also watch the podcast on YouTube. Share with a friend. I'll be back next Monday. Until then, have a great week. Love you [00:07:00] guys.
