The Paragraph After the No | September 7–13
Hi, loves. I'm Dahlia Kent, and this is your Celestial Forecast for the week of Monday, September 7. Y'all, it's Labor Day, and everybody's fall calendar showed up this weekend looking like hostage note. Some of y'all are closing the pool and some of y'all are going to be swimming through October. It doesn't matter.
Dahlia:The calendar came for all of us. Mars is still in Cancer, so apparently Labor Day means other people assigning you labor and calling it community. One rule for every sign, you do not have to do all four things you said yes to this weekend. Pick two. All right, let's get into it.
Dahlia:Aries, you're gonna have the argument in your head three separate times this week. The one where you finally say the thing, they finally understand and nobody interrupts. Well, it has never once gone that way. Do not start the real argument just because you got bored with the rehearsal. Go sit in your car instead.
Dahlia:Drive somewhere, park somewhere, let it be twenty minutes. That car is the only room in your life where nobody can find you. Taurus, somebody's about to fold you into their plans this week. A favor, a shift, a it'll only take an hour. You already know your answer.
Dahlia:Say it before they finish explaining because the explanation is where they put the guilt and it will not take an hour. Just an hour is how people smuggle an afternoon into your week. Somebody will say, While you're here, just say no early, unless it's your mother. Gemini, there's a group text this week that you're going to be extremely funny in and it's going to eat ninety minutes of a day you need it. Not all at once, four minutes at a time, eleven times, plus the part you go back and check whether the good one landed it landed it always lands Gemini put the phone face down for one afternoon and find out what your own brain sounds like without nobody to perform to I know it's ifying, try it anyway.
Dahlia:Cancer, someone's going to offer your help before anyone asks you. This is not a request, that's an announcement. You're allowed to look surprised. You're also allowed to say, I didn't agree to that because you did not. Your energy is not a folding table.
Dahlia:It does not automatically come with the event. And by the way, if you find somebody sitting alone in their car this week, staring into the middle distance, let them be. Do not tap on the glass. They're not sad. They're in a protected habitat.
Dahlia:Leo, you're going get real dressed up for something ordinary this week and somebody is going to make a little comment about it. Where are you going? Because you felt like it. And the reason is because Jupiter's in your sign. Subtlety is currently unavailable.
Dahlia:So go ahead and wear the good sunglasses. The grocery store has lighting that makes it an occasion. You do not have explain the outfit. You are not overdressed. They are under committed.
Dahlia:Virgo, Thursday night's new moon is yours. And by then your brain will have built the whole plan. Color coded, every day accounted for, a small square marked buffer. The plan is going to make you feel like you have control of something. You do not.
Dahlia:Nobody has ever had control of a September. Go ahead and print it anyway. It's not about the schedule. It's about the printing. Then pick one routine you can actually keep past next Thursday, just one.
Dahlia:And by the way, Virgo, a system that requires everybody around you to become different people is not a system. Libra, you have already made this decision twice. And this week you're going to open it back up and look at it again because a new piece of information showed up and now it feels irresponsible not to reconsider. It is not irresponsible. It's the third time Libra.
Dahlia:You're not gathering information anymore. You're looking for a version where nobody's disappointed and that version does not exist. Go with the one you picked first. You were right then. Scorpio, there's something that somebody said to you that you've been turning over and this week you're going to decide it meant something worse than it did.
Dahlia:You'll sigh near them. You'll get quiet in a way that you think is subtle. You'll sit in a chair and develop a position. None of that counts as communication. Ask the actual question out loud in a full sentence to the person who said it, not to somebody else who knows them.
Dahlia:And you're probably wrong about what they meant. That's good news, Scorpio. Take the good news. Sagittarius, you're going to want to disappear this week. Honestly, good.
Dahlia:You earned it, Sag. But somewhere around Wednesday, you're going to find yourself sitting in a parked car with the engine off three minutes from somewhere you're supposed to be. And you're going to look over and somebody else is going to be doing the exact same thing. Give them a nod. That's your people.
Dahlia:Then go ahead and take the actual trip. Tell one person where you're going. You don't need permission, but you do need somebody to know which direction to start looking. Capricorn, you want something this week and you've told absolutely nobody. You've been picturing it though, specifically the part where you get it and act like you're not surprised.
Dahlia:Say it out loud to one person, not to ask for help, just so it exists somewhere outside your head. Capricorn secrecy is not a strategy. You've been doing the quiet part right for a long time. Let somebody else hear the dream. Aquarius, everybody in your life has quietly decided you're just fine.
Dahlia:Not out of neglect, you've just never once given them a reason to check. So somebody is gonna make you a small offer this week, a ride, a hand with something, a plate they made too much of. And your mouth is going to say, Oh, I'm good, before your brain gets a vote. Say yes to it, Aquarius, take the plate. It's not a debt you owe, it's just a plate.
Dahlia:Pisces, Something about a smell or a song is going to catch you off guard this week. Sunscreen left in a bag, chlorine on a towel, a song somebody played every day in July until you hated it and now suddenly you don't. It's going to put you right back in a summer that's already over. Let it get you. Stand there for one song, then get in the car and drive into September.
Dahlia:It might be a wild ride, but there's something good up ahead. And that is your week. Somebody's saying no before the explanation gets to the guilt. Somebody printed the calendar twice because the margins were wrong. And somebody somewhere is sitting in a parked car for twenty minutes with the engine off.
Dahlia:They are fine. Remember, pick two, not four. And when you say no, stop talking. The paragraph after the no is how you get voluntold. I'm Dahlia Kent.
Dahlia:Follow the show wherever you listen, share with a friend. I'll be back next Monday. Until then, have a great week. Love you guys.
