Don’t Make a Decision When the Light’s Wrong | September 28–October 4

Dahlia:

Hi loves, I'm Dahlia Kent and this is your Celestial Forecast for the week of Monday, September 28. Y'all, we had the harvest moon Saturday. Big, orange, sitting up there like it had personally completed September. And then Monday shows up with a sink full of dishes. That's not you failing sweetheart, that's the moon leaving and taking the good lighting with it.

Dahlia:

Everybody's a little flatter today than they were Saturday and everybody thinks they're the only one. You're not. That's the Forecast. One rule for every sign, don't make a decision about your life on Monday when the light's wrong. Let's get into it.

Dahlia:

Aries, you're gonna wanna quit something this week, not dramatically. You're just gonna wanna be done with it in a way that surprises you halfway through a Tuesday. Sit down and figure out whether you're tired of the thing or just tired of not being immediately excellent at it. These feel identical to an Aries. They are not.

Dahlia:

If it's the second one, keep going. You're not being called in a new direction. You're being asked to survive the beginner portion. Taurus, the forecast calls for a strong chance of buying something you do not need and calling it for the house. I understand your nervous system has mistaken shopping for stability, a candle, a robe, something handed to you in a bag with tissue paper.

Dahlia:

Before you do that, spend one more week in the house you already have. Light the candle in the cabinet, wear the robe hanging on the door. If you still want it in ten days, go back. I'm an astrologer, not a monk. Gemini, somebody is going to pull you into a conversation that doesn't belong to you.

Dahlia:

A hallway thing, can I tell you something? And you're going to see the whole situation clearly because you usually do. Do not weigh in. The minute you answer, both people start quoting you to each other and somehow you become the least accurate person in a conversation you aren't even in. Let them find their own way to the point.

Dahlia:

Your silence is going to look like wisdom. We'll take it however we can get it. And if they ask you what you think, remember, you left something in the car. Cancer, you're everybody's emergency contact including people who have never filled out the form. This week, the phone's gonna ring like that.

Dahlia:

You'll pick up, you always pick up. Just notice that you're the only person in your circle who's ever on the other end of that call. I'm not telling you to stop caring, I'm telling you that somebody should know how to carry you too. Think of the person you'd call. If a person comes up right away, call them this week for no reason at all.

Dahlia:

You do not have to wait until you're crying in a pharmacy. In Cancer, Venus is sitting in the romance corner of your chart right now, which is a very nice place for her to be. If you're seeing somebody, plan the thing, don't host the thing. Let it be fun instead of catering. And if you're not, go out on a weeknight anyway.

Dahlia:

Venus cannot find you in your own kitchen. Leo, you made yourself smaller at something recently, a room, a table, a meeting. You thought that was polite. It wasn't polite. It was uncomfortable and you called it polite so nobody would ask why.

Dahlia:

Mars comes into your sun this week and Jupiter's already sitting there. Your presence is coming back whether that room is ready or not and somebody's going to take a picture of you this week that you don't hate. Do not zoom in until you find a problem. The photograph was fine before you opened an investigation. Virgo, there's a thing you cannot fix because it was never yours to fix and you're gonna spend Tuesday and Wednesday trying anyway.

Dahlia:

A list, a plan, a color coded route out of somebody else's mess. Put the pen down. They may be wrong. They may stay wrong. They may learn remarkably little from the consequences.

Dahlia:

That's between them and the consequences. The most organized thing you can do this week is let somebody be wrong in peace. Libra, it's your season. Happy birthday to the early ones. The rest of you are already thinking about yours.

Dahlia:

This week, pay attention to who shows up before you've made everything beautiful. You're very good at creating the dinner, lighting the candles, putting something green sticking out of a little glass, and some people are very good at arriving once you've done all that. This week, somebody's gonna come by when there's nothing to come to. No dinner, no candles, the house is just the house. That person belongs closer.

Dahlia:

Give them the good chair. Scorpio, somebody is going to be generous with you all this week and you're going to spend the whole afternoon working out what they want. Nobody wants anything Scorpio. Sometimes a person is just nice on a Wednesday. Take it without running the analysis.

Dahlia:

I know that's the hardest thing I've asked you to do all month. Sagittarius, something you used to love is going to look good again this week. A guitar, a class, a place you stopped going. Go back to the one that doesn't need to become a project. You're allowed to enjoy something you were once mediocre at.

Dahlia:

Nobody's grading it. You do not need to master it, monetize it or buy a better bag for it. You quit for a reason. The reason may have expired. Capricorn, somebody's going to ask you your opinion this week and actually intend to use it.

Dahlia:

Give them the real answer, not the answer in business casual. You spent years sanding down your opinion so nobody thinks you're difficult. They came to you because the smooth answer wasn't enough. Be the reason they came. Aquarius, somebody is going to push you for an answer this week because they believe pressure creates clarity.

Dahlia:

It does not. Pressure creates an answer that ends the conversation. Do not give a permanent answer to end a temporary conversation. Say, I need time. Then take the time.

Dahlia:

And if they come at you about it after dark, that's not a conversation. That's an ambush with a lamp on. Pisces, you've got a whole version of this week living in your head where everything goes soft and easy and somebody finally handles the hard part for you. Well, they're not going to. Not because they're unkind, because they don't know there's a hard part.

Dahlia:

You've been very convincing Pisces. The fantasy is nice, but it's still using up energy you need for the actual afternoon. Do the one real thing you've been dreaming your way around, then go back to the daydream. It'll still be there. And well, that's your week.

Dahlia:

Somebody's letting somebody else be wrong in peace. Somebody's accepting a kindness without opening a case file and somebody's picking up a guitar without launching a newsletter. Remember, don't make a decision about your life on Monday when the lights all wrong. I'm Dahlia Kent. Follow the show wherever you listen, share with a friend.

Dahlia:

I'll be back next Monday. Until then, have a great week. Love you guys.
